Skate in the Dark is a fun, as the name says, skate in the dark, as fast as you want, as slow as you want. The trail is 6.88 miles or you can extent it out and back to the Bruce B. Downs entrance and then it will be 11 miles total.
It is a social and family friendly skate. This year will make it a "PAJAMA SKATE" - looking forward to that.
The social skate will gather at 7pm in front of the ranger station and we will roll out at 7.30pm
If you are signed up for this skate as part of Squiggy it is free, if you are coming just for this skate, then please
remember $5 for "after hours parking fee" to Flatwoods.
Remember helmet (mandatory, no exceptions!! Rangers want this for liability reasons – and we want it for common sense :-) and a light of some sorts (lights not mandatory, but a good idea).
We will have some glowsticks.
