The start is a "standing start" and with a clear signal when to start. The marathon skaters will all start together, so please be considerate where you place yourself. If you know that you are not going to race very fast, please stay to the back of the line. The top racers will very soon be out of sight, and then there will be plenty of room for you to go ahead. After the full marathon starts, we will go back about ½mile to start the half marathon. Again, everybody starts at the same time, so please let the skaters that you know are faster than you get to the front. up

There are no refunds in the event of rain, cancellation, or for any other reason. Entry fees cannot be transferred to different events or dates. As many know, due to the nature of this course, heavy rains may subject the course to flooding. Although this is incredibly unlikely in the month of February, there will be a rain plan in place.up
