  14. Rolling start or?
No, the start is a "standing start" and with a clear signal when to start. First all marathon skaters will start at the same time, so please be considerate where you place yourself. If you know that you are not going to race very fast, please stay to the back of the line. The top racers will very soon be out of sight, and then there will be plenty of room for you to go ahead. Then we will go back the about ½mile to start the half marathon. Again everybody start at the same time, so do be realistic with your own abilities and please let the skaters that you know are faster than you, get to the front. If there will be more skaters than we safely can send off at one time, we will then make the start into waves.up
